Description
We are seeking a caring, attentive, and trustworthy caregiver to provide in-home support for our 17-year-old son who has High Needs Autism. The caregiver will work with our family to develop, meet, and maintain individual goals and must have a willingness to remain committed during particularly demanding times and when certain behaviours arise. Our son requires assistance in many areas including personal care. He enjoys going for bike rides, swims and driving to playgrounds. Work will be Monday to Friday between the hours of 2.30 and 4.30 and extra hours are available every school holidays & possibly the odd few hours in the weekends, with a good pay rate.
Caregiver Requirements:
• A driver’s licence and personal vehicle (road mileage will be compensated)
• A fit person with a passion for outdoors and a willingness to go for bike rides, parks, swims etc with our son
• Clean police vetting
